Breakfront Bookcase
This commission came around due to the customer needing as much storage as possible but still wanted the Bookcase to tie in with the rest of the furniture and the general character of the house. Again the customer didn’t want to feel that the bookcase overpowered the room so after a little thought Darren came up with the design for a bookcase which had a centre section shallower then the end sections which really worked well to keep the floor space in the room yet give the customer the extra storage they wanted. The customer was very happy with the finished article they then commissioned Darren to re build an alcove cupboard to match the new bookcase.
